Hey, I’m Matthew Lyons, a French-American photographer and videographer based in Australia, with a love for travel, sport and the stories that come with it.
I’ve been living and travelling abroad since I was 19, camera in hand, documenting the places I go and the people I meet along the way. Surfing brought me into photography and videography, but over time my work has grown far beyond the ocean.
From surf camps and outdoor adventures to travel, sport, lifestyle and everyday moments, I’m interested in shooting whatever makes for a good story.
I like working with people, getting involved and finding the moments that make a place or experience feel real. Whether it’s a full campaign or simply documenting the next adventure, I’m always looking for something worth shooting.
